Maybelline New York and Dark and Lovely have joined forces with Jumia to create a weeklong campaign aimed at empowering women to look and feel good.
The week-long celebration of women kicks off today, with the launch of the Dark and Lovely and Maybelline New York shops on Ghana's number one online retailer, Jumia.
Women in Ghana will now be able to access the top hair and beauty brands on the trusted online shop, via http://darkandlovely.iumia.com.gh/ | http://maybelline.iumia.com.gh/ to make it easier and more convenient for women to get their hands on their favorite products.
Popular Maybelline New York products from the mind-blowing Colossal Volume Mascara for a false eyelash effect to the best-selling Maybelline Colossal Kajal for beautiful eyes will now be available to buy only on Jumia.
To continue with the celebration, every woman that buys Maybelline New York or Dark and Lovely this week, will be given a free product sample along with a thank you note.
Visitors to Accra Mall this week are in for a treat as not only will they receive free samples of Dark and Lovely products, they will also get the opportunity to be styled by Maybelline New York makeup artists, enabling them to experience a taste of the range of products that will be available to buy online.
The Jumia team will be on hand to talk visitors through the simple process of buying these and many more products via their online retail shop.
Dark and Lovely Moisture Plus with its range of relaxer kits for superior moisture and silky straight hair, will be showing its support for International Women's Day by celebrating Ghanaian women who all have two things in common - they are inspirational and making a difference within their fields.
The purple brand has selected some phenomenal women to represent the brand.
They are award-winning broadcaster Jessica Opare Saforo, renowned sculptor Constance Swaniker, award winning actress and TV presenter Naa Ashorkor Mensah Doku as brand ambassadors for the period of the campaign.
The rest are creator of the hit series ‘An African City’, Nicole Amartegfio, founder of internationally acclaimed luxury fashion label Christie Brown, Aisha Aboubi, businesswoman, TV presenter Anita Erskine and award winning actress, TV presenter and producer Ama K. Abebrese.
