The Medical Superintendent of the Obuasi Government Hospital, Dr. Kwadwo Nyarko Jactey's residents has been ransacked by thieves and properties taken away.
The thieves stormed the residence during the day when the doctor was attending to patients at the hospital.
Adom News correspondent, Isaac K. Normanyo gathered that this is the third time such an incident has happened to doctors at the hospital.
Some valuables such as TV sets, laptops and other things including an undisclosed amount of money were stolen by the thieves.
Following the incident, staff of the hospital are now living in fear of being targeted as well.
Dr. Jactey blamed his predicament partly on the fence wall of the hospital that had broken down and called for the erection of a new fence wall to help forestall such unfortunate incidents.
The case has however been forwarded to the police who have come to look at the situation with interest now in the next step to be taken.
Questions have also been asked about when the right authorities will fix the damaged walls to ensure the incident does not repeat again.
