Karpowership Ghana has hosted the Sekondi-Takoradi Metropolitan Assembly (STMA) Spatial Committee on a tour of the Karadeniz Powership Osman Khan (KPS 12).
This initiative was part of the company's ongoing efforts to keep stakeholders informed and updated.
The tour aimed to give the STMA leadership a firsthand understanding of Karpowership’s unique technology and to familiarise them with the safety and security features of this state-of-the-art power generation system.

The tour was necessary because the spatial planning committee is responsible for making decisions on land use, planning, development of infrastructure and management of the city and its natural environment.
Speaking during the tour, Sandra Amarquaye, Corporate Communications Manager of Karpowership Ghana, emphasised the company's commitment to engaging stakeholders.
"Our stakeholders play a crucial role in our operations. Their support and approval are vital to our success, which is why we continuously engage them through various means, including visits, courtesy calls, and tours like this," she said.

Ms. Amarquaye expressed gratitude to the National Disaster Management Organisation (NADMO), STMA, and the STMA Spatial Committee for their ongoing cooperation and their visit.
She reassured them of Karpowership Ghana’s commitment to collaboration and transparency.
Mr. Richard Tettey Anongor, Sub Technical Committee member and the chairman from ECG who led the delegation extended sincere appreciation for the warm reception and informative tour.
He commended Karpowership Ghana’s operations, stating, “We were highly impressed with the comprehensive safety protocols and efficient operations in place at Karpowership Ghana Limited.
This visit has provided us with significant insights and has strengthened our collaborative efforts in ensuring community safety and preparedness.”
Emma Adu Boafo, the Public Relations Officer for STMA NADMO, expressed her admiration for the disaster preparedness and safety measures implemented on the Karadeniz Powership Osman Khan (KPS 12).

She noted that “the comprehensive safety measures and proactive planning for potential emergencies are exemplary. This reflects Karpowership Ghana's commitment to ensuring the well-being of both the crew and the surrounding community. “
The visit reinforced the strong relationship between Karpowership Ghana and the STMA, highlighting their shared commitment to community safety and development.
