The eagerly anticipated National Science and Maths Quiz (NSMQ) has made a grand return, with schools nationwide gearing up for the national championship.
The launch of the 2024 NSMQ took place on Tuesday, October 1, at the GNAT Hall in Accra, where the preliminary stage balloting was also conducted.
Careful attention was given to ensure fairness in selecting competing schools, which were organised into groups from pots labelled A, B, and C.
This year, the NSMQ is set to take place at Cape Coast in the Central Region.
Notably, 27 schools have already secured their spots in the one-eighth stage of the championship.
The preliminary stage is set to begin on October 14, 2024. Here are the schools competing in this exciting round:
