Bayer Leverkusen star Jeremie Frimpong has donated items to kids at the Osu Children's Home in Accra as part of his one-week visit to Ghana.
Frimpong donated items valued at over GH₵30,000, including Bayer Leverkusen jerseys for the home’s school team.
Speaking to the media, the wingback described the gesture as a fulfillment of a long-held dream.
“I’ve always wanted to do this, but I needed to be in the right position to provide.
"Of course, I play football for my family, but now I can also help others. This is what I want to do, especially in Africa. This is where I’m from; I have Ghanaian blood. Putting a smile on the faces of these kids is what it’s all about,” he said.

Frimpong’s visit coincides with the Bundesliga's festive season break.
The 23-year-old, who has carried his impressive form into the current season, will return to Germany this weekend to resume club duties.
