The Premier League trophy has arrived in Accra, ahead of this weekend's Guinness Ghana Premier League Trophy Tour of Accra.
All 3ft 5in (104cm) and 2ft (61cm) of the magnificent piece of silver was on display at a press conference at the Marriotts International Hotel on Friday night.
Ghana assistant coach John Paintsil and John Mensah were the special guests of honour at Friday's presser which also featured officials of Guinness Ghana; Estella Muzito, Marketing Director and Sabina Manu, Marketing Manager.
John Paintsil made 75 Premier League appearances for West Ham and Fulham, while former Black Stars captain John Mensah racked up 34 appearances in a season-long loan for Sunderland.
On Sunday, March 16, 2026, Premier League fans will get the opportunity to see all 25.4kg of the Premier League trophy at PittStop in Labone, when the trophy is unveiled to the public again.
This special visit is part of a global tour made possible by Guinness, the official beer sponsor of the Premier League.
Sunday's event, which is powered by Guinness Ghana, will feature one Premier League match; Arsenal versus Chelsea at 13:30 GMT.
