Ghanaian boxer John Laryea has left for the United States to continue preparations for his second international fight.
The 'Expensive Boxer' left Accra on Thursday night for California as part of the plan to help him continue his training in the US.
Laryea, who fought Nicaragua's Alexander Mejia in November 2024 in his first international bout, is expected to return to the ring soon in the US.
The 22-year-old held his final training session in the early hours of Thursday, April 17, before his departure later in the night.

Laryea left Ghana with the United Airlines aircraft and is expected to reach his destination in the US later on Friday.
While in the US, Laryea will have the opportunity to train with some of the best coaches and practice with the boxers available.
The enterprising boxer is scheduled to fight on a later date in May as he continues his development and fights his way to securing a world title for Ghana.
