Enterprise Group PLC, in collaboration with the Management of Tetteh Quarshie Memorial Hospital and other valued partners, on Friday, May 2, officially commissioned a state-of-the-art Dialysis Centre at the hospital, marking a major milestone in efforts to expand critical healthcare access across Ghana.
The fully equipped Dialysis Centre will significantly improve the treatment of chronic kidney disease, especially for residents of the Eastern Region and surrounding communities. This initiative is part of Enterprise Group’s broader commitment to sustainable impact, inspired by its mission of providing an advantage to all who come into contact with the Enterprise Brand.
Speaking at the event, the Group CEO of Enterprise Group PLC, Mr. Daniel Larbi-Tieku, reflected on the company’s ongoing journey of purposeful giving:

“Last year, as we celebrated 100 years of our oldest subsidiary, Enterprise Insurance, we asked ourselves a simple question: What will our legacy be? Not just in business, but in terms of impact. The result has been several life-changing projects—16 boreholes nationwide, the renovation of the Butterfly Center at Ridge, Accra, and now this Dialysis Centre, which is especially dear to my heart as a proud son of the land.”
Mr. Larbi-Tieku emphasised that the centre is not a charitable act, but a corporate social investment in the community and its constituents.
“This is how we define success—by the lives we touch and the futures we help build. We believe businesses thrive when the communities around them are thriving too.”
The commissioning ceremony was attended by the Speaker of Parliament, Alban Bagbin, who commended the initiative and emphasised that “healthcare is a constitutional right and must be treated as such.”
Also present was the Member of Parliament for the area, Samuel Awuku, who praised Enterprise Group for its leadership and lasting impact.
The new Dialysis Centre features advanced dialysis machines, a fully furnished waiting area sponsored by Enterprise Group PLC, and support resources to ensure patients receive quality care closer to home.
This project aligns with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goal 3: Good Health and Well-being, reinforcing Enterprise Group’s belief that impactful business is inseparable from social progress.
