The Member of Parliament for Assin South, Rev. John Ntim Fordjour, has encouraged this year’s Basic Education Certificate Examination (BECE) candidates to remain focused and confident as they prepare to write their final examinations.
He made this call during a three-day tour across schools in the Assin South Constituency from 2nd to 4th June 2025, where he donated 3,400 mathematics sets to all registered BECE candidates.
Rev. Ntim Fordjour, who is also a Deputy Minister of Education, was accompanied by the District Director of Education, Mr. Opoku Inkoom, during the donation exercise.

Addressing the pupils, he assured them of his unwavering support and urged them to study hard and remain determined, saying, “Get ready for a bright future. With discipline and diligence, there is no limit to what you can achieve.”
The initiative, which forms part of the MP’s annual support programme for final-year pupils, aims to equip candidates with essential tools to aid their preparation and performance during the examinations.
Rev. Ntim Fordjour emphasised the importance of equal access to educational materials, adding that no candidate in the constituency should feel disadvantaged due to a lack of basic learning tools.

Teachers and school authorities across the constituency expressed their gratitude for the gesture, describing it as timely and impactful.
They lauded the MP for his consistency in supporting education and motivating young learners, particularly at such a critical stage in their academic journey.
