The Agricultural Development Bank (ADB) PLC has reaffirmed its commitment to community development and institutional support by donating three water pumps and boosters to the Regional Police Training School in Kenyasi, Ahafo Region.
The equipment, valued at GH¢28,677, is expected to significantly improve the school’s water supply system, enhance sanitation, and support the daily activities of both trainees and staff.
At a brief handing-over ceremony, ADB’s Assistant Area Manager for the Bono and Ahafo Regions, Mr. Kwabena Oppong, underscored the bank’s dedication to national security through targeted logistics support.
He explained that the donation was part of ADB’s Corporate Social Responsibility initiative aimed at strengthening public institutions and communities that play a vital role in national development.
“We are here on behalf of the Agricultural Development Bank to donate water pumps and boosters to support the important work being done at the Regional Police Training School in Kenyasi,” Mr. Oppong stated.
“We believe this gesture will improve comfort and efficiency at the school.”
Receiving the donation, the Commanding Officer of the Regional Police Training School, Chief Superintendent Samuel Omari-Anim, expressed deep appreciation for ADB’s timely intervention.
He noted that access to reliable water had been a persistent challenge for the school.
“This generous support from ADB is a clear demonstration of the bank’s commitment not only to agriculture and finance but also to national development and security,” he said.
Chief Superintendent Omari-Anim also affirmed the school’s willingness to continue collaborating with benevolent institutions like ADB to advance national goals.
