The Member of Parliament for Tano North, Dr Gideon Boako, on Monday morning held a strategic engagement with Heads of Departments at the Tano North Municipal Assembly to deepen collaboration and promote inclusive development.
The rare interaction offered the legislator a first-hand understanding of the various programmes and activities being implemented across departments within the Assembly.
Dr Boako underscored the importance of synergy between his office and the Assembly in delivering development to the people.

“As an MP, I see this engagement as critical to aligning our goals, identifying the real needs of our people, and working collectively to address them,” he said.
The discussion touched on departmental challenges, priority areas for the municipality, and innovative solutions to socio-economic issues facing the constituency.
The meeting also explored mechanisms to improve coordination and cooperation among the departments.

Dr Boako emphasised that effective collaboration could help streamline development efforts and eliminate duplication of projects.
“Our aim is to create a well-coordinated framework where every development initiative counts and is part of a bigger picture of progress for Tano North,” he noted.
This consultative engagement is part of Dr Boako’s broader commitment to participatory governance and sustainable development.
He reiterated his resolve to continue engaging local structures and stakeholders to ensure that the voice of every constituent is reflected in the development agenda.
“It is only through collective effort that we can build a resilient and prosperous Tano North,” he added.
