St. James Seminary SHS reminded everyone of their national prowess with a dominant performance in the second semifinal of the Brong Ahafo Zonal Championship, booking their place in the final and clinching the GOIL Riddle Bonanza in style.
Seeded directly into the semifinals due to their strong NSMQ track record, St. James made their presence felt immediately.
They topped the contest with an impressive 69 points, comfortably outclassing Tuobodom SHS (23 pts), Akumfi Ameyaw SHTS (16 pts), and Methodist SHTS, Berekum (4 pts).
Their dominance extended to the GOIL Riddle Bonanza, where they correctly answered three out of four riddles, earning them the bonus prize and electrifying their enthusiastic supporters, who filled the venue with their signature jama spirit.

St. James Seminary is no stranger to the national spotlight. Their best performance came in 2022, when they reached the semi-finals. In 2024, they put up a strong fight in the quarter-finals, finishing behind PRESEC and Pope John SHS, but missed out on a semifinal slot.

With their zonal victory, St. James has once again proven why they remain one of the most respected schools on the NSMQ stage, and are hoping to win this year’s Brong Ahafo Zonal Championship after losing it last year to Sunyani.
