The 2025 Oguaa Fetu Afahye was once again a vibrant display of colour, culture, and celebration, drawing thousands to Cape Coast to witness one of Ghana’s most cherished festivals.
Among the many highlights that captured attention was the strong presence of The Luckiest Team, whose activities added a unique and exciting dimension to the festival.

Known for their innovative raffle that promises to transform ordinary people into millionaires, The Luckiest Team became a talking point throughout the celebration.

In keeping with the cultural spirit of the Afahye, The Luckiest Team engaged with traditional leadership, paying homage to the Paramount Chief and appealing for recognition as a legitimate partner in showcasing and celebrating Ghanaian tradition.

This gesture underscored their commitment to supporting cultural heritage while creating opportunities for people to win life-changing rewards.
A major attraction of the celebration was the electrifying artiste night dubbed “The Luckiest Afahye Rave”.

The event lit up Cape Coast with thrilling performances from some of Ghana’s finest acts, including Shatta Wale, Wendy Shay, Camidoh, and several others.

The night was filled with energy, music, and dance, leaving unforgettable memories for festival-goers.

In addition to entertainment, The Luckiest Team demonstrated goodwill by donating items to the Omanhene of the Oguaa Traditional Council.

The presentation included a brand-new television set and assorted drinks, a gesture warmly received as a symbol of respect and partnership with the traditional authorities.
The Oguaa Fetu Afahye continues to grow in prominence, blending tradition with modern experiences.

With The Luckiest Team’s involvement this year, the festival not only celebrated heritage but also showcased how cultural events can be platforms for innovation, engagement, and opportunities that enrich both communities and individuals.
