Vice President, Professor Naana Jane Opoku-Agyemang, has been enstooled as Owoabrempong Kru-Kow I by the chiefs and people of the Komenda Traditional Area.
The enstoolment took place during the 2025 Komendaman Nyeyi Festival, held on Saturday, September 13.
The new stool name, Owoabrempong Kru-Kow I, symbolises honour and recognition for Professor Opoku-Agyemang’s contributions to education and national development and her commitment to the values of leadership and service.

The ceremony was marked by rich cultural displays, traditional drumming, and dance, as the people of Komenda welcomed her into their fold as a respected leader and development partner.
The chiefs praised the Vice President for her dedication to improving the lives of Ghanaians and expressed hope that her enstoolment would further deepen the relationship between the state and traditional authorities.
