The University of Professional Studies, Accra (UPSA), celebrated a major milestone on October 3, 2025, as hundreds of graduates received degrees and diplomas during the 4th session of the 17th Congregation.
Outstanding students who excelled in their various programmes were also presented with attractive prizes.
The ceremony, held at the Kofi Konadu Auditorium, marked a significant moment for the graduands, who were encouraged to become global leaders and visionaries.

In his keynote address, Drolor Bosso Adamtey I, who is also a member of the Council of State, emphasized the importance of thinking beyond Ghana and Africa, urging graduates to see themselves as global leaders.
"The world does not need more followers – it needs visionaries, builders, and leaders who can stand toe-to-toe with anyone on the global stage."

He encouraged the graduates to be part of the generation that would leave a lasting footprint on the world.
Drolor Bosso Adamtey I also offered five guiding principles for the graduates to carry with them as they embark on their journey:
1. Discipline and Focus: Stay committed to your goals and refuse distractions.
2. Innovation and Creativity: Build, create, and manufacture solutions rather than just consuming.
3. Courage to Overcome: Turn trials into triumphs and setbacks into stepping stones.
4. Legacy Thinking: Build something that outlives you.
5. Service and Giving: Be a giver, not a taker, as givers are the ones who move the world forward.

Vice Chancellor, Prof. Kweku Mensah Mwutor, stated that the graduation ceremony was not just a finish line but a beginning.
He encouraged the graduates to carry the vision and make their mark on Ghana, Africa, and the world.
As the graduates of UPSA embark on their journey, they carry with them the pride of their university, the watchful eyes of Africa, and the world's expectation.
