The spokesperson for former Education Minister and aspiring New Patriotic Party (NPP) flagbearer, Dr. Yaw Osei Adutwum, has expressed confidence that his visibility and marketability will make the 2028 general elections an easier contest for the party.
Yaw Opoku Mensah said Dr. Adutwum’s achievements and transformational leadership at the Education Ministry continue to resonate with many Ghanaians, adding that his impact influenced voter decisions even in the 2024 elections.
According to him, ordinary citizens, including taxi drivers and passengers, have been promoting Dr. Adutwum’s good works, further amplifying his record of innovation, dedication, and results-driven leadership.
Mr. Opoku Mensah described Dr. Adutwum as a visionary leader whose innovative thinking and strong sense of duty make him the ideal candidate to lead the NPP into the future.
“We can’t afford to miss the boat this time. The party delegates must make history on January 31, 2026. The NPP must allow Ghanaians to experience these exceptional leadership qualities as we push beyond political competition,” he stated.
He emphasized that Dr. Adutwum embodies the kind of forward-looking leadership Ghana needs in the Fourth Industrial Revolution, urging party delegates to rally behind him for victory in the 2028 polls.
“The future is ours to make, especially when everything rests on the shoulders of delegates. The time is due for us all to unite behind Dr. Adutwum and present him to Ghanaians for victory in 2028,” he added.
