The best graduating student of the Ghana School of Law 2025 cohort, Latifa Teiya Fuseini, Esq., has expressed her admiration for dancehall artiste Shatta Wale.
Speaking on Joy Prime's afternoon show Changes about whose music she frequently listens to when she feels bored, she mentioned the self-acclaimed African dancehall king, adding that he is her favourite artiste.
In the interview, the host, Doreen Avio asked, “Who is your favourite artiste in Ghana?”
She replied, “Shatta Wale,” stating that she loves his music. Latifa selected “Freedom” as her favourite track from the Shatta Movement (SM) leader and danced to it.
When asked further which entertainment personality she would gladly represent in court if approached, the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST) alumnus chose Shatta Wale, solidifying her commitment to the artiste's brand. She also said she would have loved to attend his recently concluded ShattaFest/Shattabration.
“You know we have so many people in the entertainment industry. Which of them would you gladly or willingly accept to be their legal lens in court if they reached out to you?” Doreen quizzed. “Shatta Wale,” Latifa said after a long pause.
Latifa Teiya Fuseini graduated with first-class honours and was part of the batch of 824 lawyers officially called to the Bar in October 2025. She won the Overall Best Graduating Student award at the Ghana School of Law, receiving the John Mensah Sarbah Prize for her outstanding academic performance.
