Day Three of the Ecobank–JoyNews Habitat Fair is currently underway at the Accra International Conference Centre (AICC), with homeowners, prospective builders and industry professionals exploring a wide range of products and services for home building, finishing and financing.
The fair, themed “Dream It, Own It, Live It,” continues to draw strong attendance as visitors engage with more than 50 exhibitors offering building materials, roofing solutions, land acquisition guidance, interior décor options and mortgage support from leading banks including title sponsor Ecobank Ghana.
But beyond the usual home construction essentials, security is emerging as a key focus for many homeowners at the fair. With growing concerns about break-ins and property safety, several visitors are paying closer attention to modern residential security technologies on display.

Companies are showcasing CCTV surveillance systems, access control devices, intrusion alarms, and remote monitoring platforms designed to help homeowners secure their properties from anywhere in the world.
One of the firms drawing attention is Virtual Security Africa (VSA), which provides modern and reliable electronic security systems tailored for homes, businesses, and corporate institutions across Ghana.

According to representatives at the stand, many households and small businesses still rely on outdated or non-existent security systems, leaving them exposed to rising risks.
VSA says it is responding to this need by offering powerful but affordable security packages designed for long-term confidence and ease of use.
The company notes that homeowners can now benefit from:
- Up to 30% discounts on modern CCTV and security systems
- Flexible payment plans of up to 6 months
- A 2-year limited warranty
- Lifetime after-sales support
For medium and large companies, including banks and manufacturing firms, VSA also offers a pre-financing model, allowing institutions to upgrade outdated security systems with minimal upfront cost.

These enterprise systems come with flexible payment terms of 12 to 24 months, a 5-year limited warranty, and lifetime support to ensure continuity and efficiency.
The Habitat Fair continues through the weekend, offering:
- Cost-saving deals on building and finishing materials
- Interior décor and furnishing solutions
- Real estate purchase options
- Mortgage consultation services
- And now, reliable home security upgrades
Whether building, renovating, or securing a home, the third day of the fair is providing everything in one place.
