Minister for Government Communications Felix Kwakye Ofosu has outlined a series of significant national activities scheduled for the coming week, describing it as a crucial period for governance and policy direction.
Mr. Kwakye Ofosu revealed that proceedings will kick off on Monday with the presentation of the report on the August 6 helicopter tragedy to the National Security Council.
The findings and recommendations of the investigative team will be made public during a media briefing on Tuesday, November 11, providing Ghanaians with insight into the circumstances surrounding the incident.
Midweek, on Wednesday, November 12, President John Dramani Mahama is expected to launch the “Nkoko Nkitinkiti” programme in Kumasi, a new initiative focused on community development and youth empowerment.
The week will conclude on Thursday with the Minister for Finance presenting the 2026 Budget Statement and Economic Policy in Parliament.
According to Mr. Kwakye Ofosu, the budget “brims with far-reaching policy initiatives” aimed at addressing key national priorities and driving economic growth.
He noted that the combination of these major events is evidence of the government’s commitment to transparency, accountability, and forward-looking reforms that seek to engage citizens and strengthen national development.
