The event, themed “Reimagining Public Relations in a Contemporary World,” will bring together communication professionals from across the country to exchange ideas, discuss industry trends, and celebrate excellence in public relations practice.
The annual summit, regarded as IPR Ghana’s flagship gathering, will feature a series of key activities, including a conference on emerging trends in the communications landscape, the Institute’s Annual General Meeting, and an induction ceremony for newly accredited members.
The programme will also include Legends Night, during which Dr. Ekwow Spio-Garbrah will be honoured for his contribution to the field, and an Excellence Awards Night to celebrate innovation, integrity, and outstanding achievements in public relations.
Nana Kobina Nketsia, Paramount Chief of the Esikado Traditional Area, will serve as the Special Guest of Honour.
President of IPR Ghana, Ms. Esther A. N. Cobbah, FIPR, highlighted the importance of the summit, describing it as more than just a professional gathering.
She said it serves as a moment of reflection, renewal, and rededication to the values that define the public relations profession.
Ms. Cobbah emphasised the need for communicators to innovate and lead with integrity, ensuring their work continues to strengthen connection, understanding, and progress in society.
The Institute noted that the National PR Summit offers a unique platform for practitioners from the public, private, and non-profit sectors to explore the evolving role of public relations in national development.
It has therefore invited all members and communication professionals to participate and contribute to shaping the future of public relations in Ghana.
Established in 1972, IPR Ghana remains the professional body responsible for the regulation, training, and development of public relations practitioners nationwide.
