Promasidor Group has appointed Festus Tettey to assume the role of Group Chief Executive Officer to oversee its operations effective January 1, 2026.
Mr Tettey takes over from Anders Einarsson, currently Group CEO, who will become Group Executive Chairman of the Board, reporting to the Board.
Until his promotion, Festus was CEO of ECOWAS (excluding Nigeria) with oversight responsibility in Benin, Burkina Faso, Cape Verde, Cote D’Ivoire, Gambia, Ghana, Guinea, Guinea-Bissau, Liberia, Mali, Mauritania, Niger, Senegal, Sierra Leone and Togo.
In a corporate communique signed by Promasidor Group’s Chief Human Resource Officer, Uwa Michael-Okafor, the statement said: “Festus is widely respected for building strong teams, building strong brands with strong product quality, and elevating operational discipline.”
The incoming Promasidor Group CEO has made remarkable contributions to the growth of Promasidor Ghana and ECOWAS regions, having held numerous leadership roles, including Promasidor Ghana’s Sales and Marketing Director, Commercial Director of Promasidor Nigeria, Promasidor Ghana CEO for 6 years and ECOWAS CEO (excluding Nigeria) for a year.
