The recognition celebrates the foundation’s outstanding contribution to promoting inclusion and amplifying the creative voices of persons with disabilities through art.
The PIP Global Disability Art Festival is a prestigious international event that brings together artists with disabilities from across the world.

The annual festival celebrates creativity, resilience, and diversity, showcasing artistic expressions that challenge stereotypes and redefine global perceptions of disability.
Robbfoundation stood out among participants for its powerful visual storytelling and dedication to empowering individuals with down syndrome and learning disabilities.

The foundation’s work, rooted in advocacy and inclusion, has been widely commended for using art as a tool to inspire understanding and acceptance.
Representing the organisation at the festival, President of Robbfoundation, Mavis Asantewaah Opoku, received the award on behalf of the foundation.

She further described the honour as both “humbling and empowering.”
“This recognition affirms the creativity and potential of people with disabilities,” she said. “At Robbfoundation, we believe art is not only a means of expression but also a bridge that connects communities and inspires change.” She added

Festival organisers praised Robbfoundation for its innovative approach to disability arts and its commitment to using creativity to break barriers. The recognition positions the Ghanaian foundation among global leaders in inclusive art initiatives.

The award marks an important milestone for Robbfoundation, reinforcing its mission to create spaces where people with disabilities can freely express themselves, celebrate their talents, and shape narratives that foster equality and inclusion.
