Kwame Yogot, affectionately known as Ghana’s “Rap Comedian”, has returned with a playful new track titled “Ajei”, a record that mixes his trademark humour with rhythmic energy and a celebration of everyday Ghanaian life.
“Ajei” finds Yogot at his usual creative self, using popular local dishes as clever metaphors to tell stories about love, daily struggles and human behaviour.
The song blends catchy hooks with witty punchlines, giving listeners a flavourful experience that feels both familiar and fresh.
Kwame Yogot says the idea behind the single was to highlight the simple cultural touchpoints that connect Ghanaians.

To him, local food represents more than taste; it carries memories, brings communities together and reflects identity. The song channels that sentiment with warmth and a playful edge.
Fans will recognise the signature Yogot style throughout the track: sharp wordplay, cultural references, light-hearted delivery and a beat that keeps the entire song moving.
“Ajei” is out now on all major streaming platforms.
