One person has died, while 13 others sustained injuries following a head-on collision involving two vehicles on Friday, 19 December, on Power-House Road in Ho, in the Volta Region.
According to a Facebook post shared by the Ghana National Fire Service (GNFS), the accident, which occurred between a Hyundai saloon car with registration number GE 1005Y and a Toyota Land Cruiser, CR 2318-25, left a total of 15 people affected.
While thirteen occupants suffered varying degrees of injury, one person escaped unharmed.

The Ho Municipal Rescue Team of the GNFS under the supervision of Assistant Divisional Officer II (ADO II) Elorm Dorlvo, responded to the incident. Fire officers rescued all thirteen injured victims from the wreckage and transported them to the Ho Teaching Hospital for urgent medical attention.
Following the rescue operation, GNFS personnel worked to clear the roadway of debris and damaged vehicles to restore safe passage for motorists and pedestrians.
