The Obuasi West Municipality came alive on Thursday 1 January, 2026, with warmth and generosity as Hon. Ambrose Edwin Nsarkoh, Deputy CEO of the Ghana Export Promotion Authority, hosted the annual Saints Feast, a program dedicated to love, compassion, and hope.
The event, which took place at the Municipal Assembly, welcomed widows, the elderly, persons with disabilities, and residents of orphanage homes who received generous support, including food items such as live chicken, bottled water, rice, and cooking oil, alongside cash donations, gifts, and services tailored to their needs.

Speaking at the event, Hon. Nsarkoh said: “Saints Feast is more than sharing food; it is about sharing hope, restoring dignity, and reminding each member of our community that they are seen, valued, and loved.”
Beyond the material donation, Saints Feast also offered an opportunity to extend kindness, restore hope, and bring smiles to many faces.

Through this initiative, Hon. Nsarkoh and his team showcased the power of selfless service and human connection, reminding all that acts of generosity, no matter the scale, can transform lives and strengthen the fabric of the community.
