The Director of Finance and Strategy at Consolidated Bank Ghana Ltd, Mr Charles Appiah, participated in the 2025 edition of the prestigious Authentic Leadership Programme hosted by the renowned Harvard Business School in the United States of America.
Held from 31 May to 5 June 2025, the programme convened senior leaders from around the world, equipping them with the authentic leadership qualities needed to guide their organisations with greater vision and impact.
The Authentic Leadership Programme is one of Harvard Business School’s flagship executive development offerings, specifically designed to help participants uncover, deepen, and embody authentic leadership while leading with clarity, purpose, and conviction.
Conducted twice annually, the programme delivers an intensive, transformative learning experience that fosters profound self-reflection, strategic innovation, and meaningful collaboration. Mr Charles Appiah is among the select few to have completed the training and earned certification with distinction.
Reflecting on his experience, Mr Charles Appiah stated that he gained invaluable insights that will profoundly shape his professional approach and decision-making.
He expressed deep gratitude to the leadership of Consolidated Bank Ghana Ltd for the opportunity, emphasising that the depth of knowledge and high-calibre global networking afforded by such programmes is truly unmatched.
The 2025 edition marks the second time Mr Charles Appiah has undergone executive training at Harvard Business School, having previously attended the Strategic Competitive Advantage programme in 2016.
Across his distinguished 21-year career in the financial sector, Mr Charles Appiah has pursued continuous professional development at leading global institutions, including: Corporate Finance (Euromoney, Miami, USA – May 2024), Corporate Credit Analysis (Euromoney, London – 2022), Advanced Treasury Management (Euromoney, London – November 2021), CFO Programme (Euromoney, New York, USA – August 2015), among others.
