Turkish giants Galatasaray have identified Ghana international Caleb Yirenkyi as a priority target as the club shifts its transfer strategy towards younger players with high potential.
The 20-year-old midfielder, who plays for Danish side FC Nordsjaelland, has emerged as one of the most sought-after young talents in Europe, thanks to his athleticism, intensity and ability to contribute at both ends of the pitch.
Nordsjaelland are believed to be holding out for a fee in the region of €20 million, with Galatasaray exploring alternative structures, including a loan deal with an option to buy or performance-related add-ons, to reduce the upfront cost.
Reports indicate that Yirenkyi is open to a move to Galatasaray, with the prospect of UEFA Champions League football seen as a major attraction.
Head coach Okan Buruk is said to be a keen admirer of the Ghanaian, viewing him as a player who can inject tempo, aggression and energy into the midfield.
Galatasaray are expected to intensify discussions with both Nordsjaelland and the player this week as they look to advance talks on what the club sees as a long-term investment.
Yirenkyi joined Nordsjaelland in February 2025 and is under contract until June 2030. He currently has a Transfermarkt valuation of €6 million.
In the ongoing 2025/26 Danish Superliga season, the eight-cap Ghana international has registered one goal and four assists in 17 appearances.
Premier League clubs Brighton & Hove Albion, Arsenal and AFC Bournemouth have also been linked with the midfielder.
