First Lady of Ghana, Lordina Mahama, says her meeting with the First Lady of Zambia, Mutinta Hichilema, has strengthened cross-border collaboration among women leaders committed to social development.
Mrs Mahama made this known after a bilateral engagement in Lusaka on Friday, February 6, as part of President John Dramani Mahama’s three-day State Visit to Zambia.
According to her, the meeting provided an opportunity for both leaders to exchange ideas on their ongoing initiatives and explore areas of cooperation that could expand the reach and impact of their work.
“It was an inspiring and enriching meeting with my dear sister, Mutinta Hichilema,” Mrs Mahama said. “Our tête-à-tête was a beautiful display of cross-border sisterhood and collaboration as we shared meaningful conversations about our initiatives.”
She said she was pleased to share the work of the Lordina Foundation and equally inspired by the Zambian First Lady’s commitment to improving the lives of her people.
“When women leaders unite across borders, we amplify our impact and create lasting change for our communities,” Mrs Mahama stated.
