The Member of Parliament for Gomoa Central, Kwame Asare Obeng, popularly known as A Plus, has signed a three-year media partnership deal with The Multimedia Group for his upcoming Gomoa Easter Carnival.
The agreement was signed on Monday, February 23, 2026, at the premises of the media company.
The short ceremony was attended by a delegation from the organisers of the event and some staff of The Multimedia Group.
Speaking at the ceremony, A Plus expressed excitement over the partnership and outlined activities for the carnival, scheduled from April 2 to April 5, 2026.
“With the strength and reach of The Multimedia Group, this carnival will not just happen. It will be seen, it will be heard, it will be felt across Ghana and beyond,” he noted.
He also said the partnership would go a long way to boost the socio-cultural growth of the Gomoa communities.
“Through television, radio and digital platforms this partnership will ensure that the young artistes in the Central Region will be seen nationwide, the food vendor will gain customers beyond Easter, the sponsor will gain visibility across the country, the community will gain confidence in its own greatness,” he said.
The four-day event will feature three days of musical performances from some of Ghana’s top artistes as well as emerging talents in the area.

It will also include a barbecue and bonfire session, painting, art exhibition, food bazaar, masquerades and a grand durbar.
The Chief Operations Officer of The Multimedia Group, Ken Ansah, assured the organisers of the company’s full commitment to the coverage of the event.

“We will give our support, we commit fully to supporting this initiative, it is huge, it has a strong and great future, it has a future in the Gomoa area, but it also goes into areas of jobs and employment, and the bigger part of entertainment where we know that a lot of value sits,” he said.
Also in attendance was Albert Kwabena Dwumfour, President of the Ghana Journalists Association and Chairman of the organising committee of the Gomoa Easter Carnival.
He promised top-notch programming and organisation for the carnival.
“We have been able to bring together the best minds in entertainment [for this event].”
Details of all activities for the Gomoa Easter Carnival will officially be announced at a press launch scheduled for February 28, 2026.
