President John Dramani Mahama has delivered an inspiring message to the youth during Ghana’s 69th Independence Day celebrations at the Jubilee House, highlighting the unprecedented opportunities available to their generation.
“To the young people of this country, I see you, and I hear you, and I believe in your potential,” President Mahama said.
“You belong to a generation that is armed with tools and opportunities that earlier generations could hardly have imagined.”
He emphasised the transformative power of technology in the hands of young Ghanaians.
“In your hand, a smartphone transforms into a classroom, in your hands, a smartphone transforms into a business platform, in your hands, a smartphone transforms into a creative studio and gateway to a global economy,” he noted.
The President encouraged young people to use these tools responsibly and creatively to develop skills, launch enterprises, and contribute meaningfully to national development.
He reminded them that their innovation and initiative are vital to shaping Ghana’s future.
President Mahama urged the youth to remain focused, determined, and committed to harnessing the opportunities available to them, stressing that with vision and perseverance, they can lead the country toward greater prosperity and inclusivity.
