The main objective of the training, supported by the GIZ - Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH, is to build capacity for major players in the energy industry to harness the use of solar energy for both urban and rural development.
Opening the training course, Mr. Frede Bosteen, Director of DSTC Solar Training Centre expressed gratitude to GIZ for helping to make the training a possibility.
In the course of the 10-day training period, participants will be taken through both theory and practical aspects of designing and installing grid connected solar systems by DSTC technical trainers.
