The Ghana Armed Forces has denied allegations that it is indiscriminately selling its lands to private developers.

A group of retired soldiers this week made the accusation and warned of dire consequences if the practice is not stopped.

But in a statement, the Armed Forces says the allegations are "either false or half-truths".

According to the statement signed by the Acting Director of Public Relations, Lt Col E Aggrey-Quashie, the retired soldiers did a poor job by not exhausting all the avenues available to them to address their grievances.
