The self-acclaimed evangelist, Cindy Naa Adoley Brown who allegedly defrauded 225 people under the pretext of securing them American Visas has been granted bail.
However, she is still in Police custody because she cannot raise the money for her bail, Joy News has learnt.
“We have already sent her to court she was sent to Tema Circuit Court A and she pleaded not guilty and was granted bail in the sum of GH30,000 for her to re-appear on 20th of April 2015”, ASP Joseph Benefo Darkwa said in an interview.
According to the CID, Cindy Naa Adoley Brown is unable to raise four sureties as one of the requirements for her bail and so she is still in police custody.
She was arrested by the Tema Police after a Private Investigator blew her cover in what has turned out to be a massive Visa scam.
