About four classroom blocks in Machoni, Gulyansi, Manja and Gunguni, in Bimbila, were also ripped off, according to Joy News Correspondent, Hashmin Mohammed.
Electrical appliances such as refrigerators, television sets, food stuffs and other belongings of residents were also destroyed in the torrential rains.

Officials of National Disaster Management Organization (NADMO) in the district are yet to receive relief items from the headquarters in Accra for onward distribution to displaced residents.
The situation, according to reports has left victims of the rainstorm stranded and helpless.
