Isaac Brobbey who was driving a Nissan vehicle with registration number GW 6896 - 15 and an unidentified Chinese national driving a vehicle with number GX 609 – 14 were shot dead when they attempted to escape upon reaching the robbery scene.
The incident took place at about 8 pm Wednesday night.
Every driver was made to lie on the ground while the robbers shot indiscriminately into the open air.
The robbers reportedly blocked the main Anyinam-Kwaben-Abomosu road and robbed motorists of money and other valuables.
Residents around the area, who could hear the sounds of gunfire from their homes, tell JoyNews they are frightened by the development.
Despite their close proximity to the crime scene, the frightened residents were regrettably powerless to assist the robbery victims.
