A presidential aspirant of the New Patriotic Party, Mr. Dan Botwe, has called on the Party to consider his track record and leadership skills and give him the nod to represent the Party as its presidential candidate in the 2008 general elections.
He observed that it took his selflessness and organizational skills to move the Party forward to wrest power from the National Democratic Congress when things were not too good for the Party.
Mr Botwe was speaking on Sunday when interacting with the media in Ho after touring the Brong Ahafo region.
He said: "It is me, your own Dan in 1992, 1996 and 2000. I am the same good old time servant now ready to serve you better. Give me the nod and you will not regret you did."
Mr Botwe stated that victory for the NPP was secured if given the nod adding, "I am prepared to go all out to win hands down to ensure accelerated development for the country.”
He said he had already toured seven out of the 10 regions and was hopeful that he would be given the nod, come December this year.
Mr Botwe appealed to regional executives to strengthen Party "foot soldiers" and ensure cordial relationship with them to enhance internal cohesion towards greater achievements.
