Ghana's performance at the African Nations Cup in Angola has earned much plaudits with FIFA President, Sepp Blatter, joining the list of admirers.
Sepp Blatter in his welcome address at the 32nd Ordinary General Assembly of the Confederation of African Football in Luanda on Friday highlighted the Black Stars' efficient performance at the Nations Cup that has earned the four-time champions a place in Sunday's final.
Against Egypt in the Nations Cup final, Ghana seems to have already achieved more than anyone expected.
For a team riddled by injury to key players in the run-up to the tournament, coach Milovan Rajevac has crafted a strategy with a team which includes 12 Nations Cup debutants.
The FIFA President described Ghana's team which also has eight members from the team that won the FIFA U-20 World Cup last year as an inspirational story.
CAF President Issa Hayatou also in his opening speech said Ghana's success at the U-20 World Cup was one of the high moments for African football.
