A woman who reported to the police that her husband has forced her to eat human excreta has decided to withdraw the case from court. The court hearing the case has therefore dismissed the complaint. The Domestic Violence and Victims Support Unit (DOVVSU) last Thursday charged Yahaya Abdulai with causing psychological harm to his wife. He allegedly forced the excreta down the wife’s throat after a misunderstanding. The Public Relations Officer of DOVVSU, Chief Inspector Irene Oppong told Asempa news that the man physically assaulted the woman and later went for the human waste and forced it down the throat of the wife. According to Chief Inspector Oppong, the woman was lying on a bed crying after the assault and Yahaya went out only to return with the human excreta in his left hand and forced the woman to eat it in the process.
