Dancehall artiste, Stonebwoy born Livingstone Etse Satekla has revealed that he has successfully undergone a knee surgery in Germany and will, therefore, walk fully in three months' time.
The musician, who has been limping slightly for some 15 years now, made this disclosure during his performance at the MTN Pulse Turn Up last Friday at the Accra Sports Stadium.
Stonebwoy's right leg was left deformed after he was involved in an accident some 15 years ago.
During the performance, the Black Entertainment Television (BET) Award winner said, “Big up every hustler, big up every real person. We have been through life, accident, surgery, operation, we have been through it all, that’s why we know life. So I say big up everybody who no dey laugh at a brother, but to feel his pain.”
“Yeah, okay you see say them dey call…. I no dey Ghana right? I no dey Ghana. I go Germany I go do my knee, I show them say look I go fit do am. You understand? I show them say I do fit do am. It no be nothing. But I love the way I dey live and I love the people I dey inspire,” the 'Go Higher' singer added.
He continued, “So make I show you. You see this my knee? First it no dey bend, now you dey see? I dey do physiotherapy. I do the surgery finish, now I dey do physiotherapy. In the next three months I go dey walk like normal you people, whey it go pain you. You dey see? You dey see? Them dey fool fool themma self!”
Stonebwoy, after his performance at the concert, walked off stage in a crutch.
