Asante Kotoko defender Edwin Tuffour Frimpong has admitted the players sympathize with the fans concerning their horrendous start but are confident of turning the corner.
Frimpong, who joined Kotoko from Liberty Professionals in the off season, is confident change is inevitable and that was bound to happen with the club.
Speaking at the club’s pre match conference ahead of their clash with Hasaacas, Frimpong was first and foremost apologetic to the fans.
‘‘First of all we would like to say sorry to the supporters because we have played four matches and we admit that this is a bad start from the players and we accept that.”
‘‘As they say, the only constant thing in life is change and change will it be, and we have decided to change the results we have been picking up.”
The Porcupine Warriors have been disappointing in their first four games of the season.
Some section of the fans has vented their anger towards the Opoku Nti and also some calling for the head of David Duncan.
But defender Edwin Tuffour Frimpong says the players have resolved to take their first three points of the season starting from Hasaacas.
