Fred Crentsil, the new Chief Executive Officer of Accra Hearts of Oak has promised the Phobian fraternity that his administration will employ team work and prudent management to ensure that Hearts of Oak is propelled to its deserved position among great clubs on the continent.Mr. Crentsil who made this declaration during his official induction into office at the conference hall of the Accra Sports Stadium, paid glowing tributes to his predecessors for the great work done in the past to put the club on its current pedestal.‘I came into office with open arms and a clean conscience to serve Accra Hearts of Oaks,’ he said amidst cheers from supporters present at the ceremony.Mr. Crentsil appreciated the challenges ahead and pointed out that “currently there appears to be a dark thunder cloud looming over us because of our position on the league table. But with the never say die spirit, we might find it is just a light rain that brings the tidings of a rainbow”.On his part, the Board Chairman of Accra Hearts of Oak, Commodore Mensah, advised supporters and former administrators of the club to assist the new Chief Executive in reshaping the face of the club.Mr. Mensah believed “Fred Crentsil has the guts to meet up with all these challenges…This year we do not care how he does it [referring to the league title]. It’s a challenge we are throwing to him, so that we give to the club a fitting centenary present”.The event which was chaired by the GFA president was attended by club officials and former administrators of the club.
