The Ghana music industry has witnessed a significant growth since the introduction of Hiplife by the Oseikrom, Reggie Rockstone more than a decade ago.One young and prolific artiste who has over the years effectively made a fruitful impact in the Ghanaian music industry is Nana Quame.Since joining the musical train some years ago, Nana Quame who is often described as the silky voiced musician and the “ladies man” has consistently released one hit track after the other. No wonder his name is a household one not only here at home but amongst the Ghanaian community abroad.Nana Quame has over the years had the chance to perform on big stages across Europe and America together with some local and international stars. However, since the release of his last album a few years ago, the silky-voiced Nana Quame has been on the quiet. He has also not been heard or seen during any major concert here in Ghana. This unusual silence from the camp of the musician even led to speculations within musical circles that the young man- has decided to bid music farewell, thus creating lots of anxiety amongst his fans and admirers.P&P can today reveal that Nana Quame will soon return onto the scene with a boom. He is presently in the studio putting finishing touches to his latest album which is expected to hit the market soon.Although Nana Quame, himself was tight - lipped on the issue when P&P reached him, a source close to him revealed that the yet to be released album is the best from him so far.According to the source, the album is likely to cause a major stir on the market and the airwaves once it is released.Meanwhile, information reaching the entertainment desk of the P&P indicates that some of the nation’s finest hiplife artistes including Lord Kenya, VIP, Sydney, Nkasei, Rooney of Buk Bak fame, Kwabena Kwabena among others are busily working in the studio and will come out soon with their respective albums.Source: P & P
