The case of some former National Security operatives who worked with the NPP administration and were laid off when the National Democratic Congress [NDC] government took over against the National Security Coordinator and the Attorney General and Minister of Justice is slated to be heard later on Thursday in an Accra High Court.Kenneth Gyan Kesse and 87 others who filed the case want the court to determine if they lost their jobs as a result of a perception that they were political appointees of the previous administration and to determine whether the plaintiffs were not entitled to an end of service benefits.In a writ issued from the Dadzie Anderson Yeboah and Co, defense lawyers for the plaintiffs, a copy of which is available to Asempa News, they indicated that evidence will be produced to prove that plaintiffs were removed from office for the simple reason that their services were no longer required while there has been massive recruitment of new personnel to perform exactly the same function.The trial has been set to last for two days.Story by Kojo Asare Baffuor-Acheampong/Asempa News
