Leaders Wa All Stars are bent on winning their first league title after an impressive first round in the league.
The Wa side defeated both Hearts and Kotoko as well Aduana, the other club in the top four of the league to cap off an impressive round.
Prior to the commencement of the second round, All Stars have fired a warning to clubs their performance was not a flash in the pan despite travelling long distances
“We will give Kotoko and Hearts of Oak a good run for their money because looking at where we are now, we travel very far to play our matches so getting to the end it will affect our players.”
Despite this, they are hoping the troubles of travelling long distances does not affect their performances.
“I am praying that it will not happen this time around because if you travel from Wa to play at Essipong, Sogakope and we even travel as far as Tarkwa it will affect them and we are planning what we can do to avoid such cases.”
“One worrying thing is, we have to travel to Sogakope to play WAFA and it is not an easy journey but we will make sure that we give those two clubs a tough round as the league resumes this weekend and I believe that we can play the second round very well.”
Wa All Stars begin at home against Berekum Chelsea.
