KOTOKO 1 -0 WA ALL STARS

Asante Kotoko recorded their fourth consecutive home win in the Ghana Premier league with a 1-0 victory over leaders WA All Stars at the Baba Yara stadium on Wednesday. Captain Amos Frimpong's second half header was enough to earn Kotoko the revenge against a  resilient All Stars side. The Wa side were the better side in the first half dictating the pace of play but failed to make their dominance count as the first half ended barren.Kotoko upped their game in the second half and were duly rewared when Amos Frimpong beautifully headed home Samuel Kyere's long free kick. The goal was also captain Amos Frimpong's second in successive games following the one he got at Techiman last Sunday which was also a header.

LIBERTY 1-1 HEARTS OF OAK

Hearts of Oak failed to make their home advantage count as they were held to a 1-1 draw by Liberty Professionals at the Accra Sports Stadium. The Phobians, who were technically the away side, opened the scoring through top scorer Cosmos Dauda after he was beautifully played through by schemer Samudeen Ibrahim in the 37th minute. Attacker Bernard Arthur restored parity for the Dansoman five minutes after the restart and pushed Hearts back. Arthur turned from hero to villain when he was sent off for a second bookable offence but Hearts could not capitalize on it with a  quarter of the game to go. The Phobians however maintain their long unbeaten away record with this result.

ADUANA 3-0 DWARFS

Aduana Stars returned to winning ways with a resounding 3-0 victory Ebusua Dwarfs at the Nana Agyemang-Badu Park. Striker  Yahaya Mohammed opened the scoring for the Dormaa  side from the penalty spot before exciting winger Zakaria Mumuni doubled the tally late into the first-half. Samuel Adams capped off an impressive day by adding the third to send the home fans into crazy mood.  Aduana were wounded after Dwarfs snapped the six game unbeaten streak coupled with their defeat in Bechem. Dwarfs will be shattered after going three games unbeaten prior to this game.

CHELSEA 2-0 INTER ALLIES

Berekum Chelsea avenged their defeat to Inter Allies by beating the Tema side 2-0 win at the Golden City Part in Berekum Former Ghana youth striker Saddick Adams fired the opener for the Blues in the second-half before substitute Nana-Tei Horsu topped it up late into the game.Jimmy Cobblah’s side had their game plan working to perfection in the first half of the game managing to force the hosts to draw a blank but there was no respite in the second half when striker Saddick Adams broke the deadlockDespite having their resilience broken, Inter Allies fought hard for an equaliser but were denied by the rock solid backline of Chelsea.Substitute Nana-Tei Horsu ghosted into the area and neatly finished off a move in the 83rd minute to cement the win for Chelsea.

ASHANTIGOLD 2-0 TECHIMAN CITY

In Obuasi, Ashantigold recorded their first win in nine games with a 2-0 victory over Techiman City at the Len Cla stadium. Striker Shafiu Mumuni scored a brace to give  Bashir Hayford’s side only their third win of the Ghana Premier Legaue season.

DREAMS 2-0 NEW EDUBIASE

Philemon McCArthy scored a goal from a goal kick with Eric Gawu doubling the tally for Dreams who beat Edubiase 2-0. The result was the first win in three for Dreams.
