A man incensed with the erratic power supply to his East Legon neighborhood has dumped rotten left-over food at the Electricity Company of Ghana's office in the locality. Dr. Kwaku Danso is said to have packaged the rotten food items made up of insipid plantain, with some assorted ingredients in a beautiful polythene bag and handed it over to workers of the ECG office for onward submission to the station manager. The man claimed to have been fed up with the power fluctuations in the area. Joy News reporter Anna Adjapong who was present at the station said the package had an “awful smell” apparently resulting from the lack of power to keep his refrigerator running. Evelyn Fleischer, a worker at the ECG said the angry man had wanted to see the manger but was told he had gone out for a meeting. He then left the office but not after delivering his little parcel, Fleischer narrated. According to her she put the parcel aside because “it was not smelling fine.” She said Dr Danso returned to remind her to deliver his parcel to the manager.
