Notorious criminal Johnson Kombian has been sentenced to six years imprisonment for breaking jail.
Johnson Kombian, was arrested in neighboring Togo on Saturday, November 20, with the help of Interpol operatives after breaking jail in January 2010, and killing two police officers in Nankpanduri in the Northern Region.
Kombian is on record to have committed a number of criminal offences and escaped from jail a number of times.
The three time jail breaker was arraigned before an Accra Circuit Court after his arrest and extradition from Togo and charged with Escape from Lawful Custody, contrary to Section 226 of Act 29/60.
On Wednesday, December 8 2010, the Circuit Court 1 presided over by Eric Kyei Baffour sentenced the 35 year old referred to as the Nankpanduri terror to six (6) years imprisonment.
Johnson Kombian is yet to face prosecution for murder of the two police officers and robbery.
