Officers from the Economic and Organised Crime Office returning seized computers to the offices of the Ghana Football Associations Wednesday met a 'closed down until further notice'. The anti-graft institution on Tuesday descended on the GFA offices to seize computers and documents from the GFA on a court warrant following what the EOCO said was the refusal of the football managers to submit certain tax documents for scrutiny. A request to that effect was submitted early September, however the FA claims it needed more time to respond to the request. The officers returning the computers said they had completed the work they needed to do with the computers, but there was no one at the FA to receive the computers as the office was shut. They eventually had to return to their offices with the computers, following what one of the officers said was a text message from the GFA's scribe, Kofi Nsiah, that the offices remained closed until further notice. Elsewhere in the city, the FA's board met and decided to suspend all football activities under the FA, until such a time that they deem fit to return. Story by Myjoyonline.com
