Organisers of the maiden edition of the Ghana Movie Awards will hold an official prize presentation ceremony at the Golden Tulip Hotel Tuesday to present prices to the winners of the awards which took place December 25 2010 at the Accra International Conference Centre.
Popular actor, Kofi Adu popularly known as Agya Koo, beat Majid Michel who won Best Actor in a Leading Role (English Language) to win the Founder’s Best Actor award after also winning Best Actor in a Leading Role (Local Language).
Actresses, Jackie Appiah, Juliet Ibrahim, Yvonne Okoro and Roselyn Ngissah also beat Rose Mensah popularly known as Kyeiwaa to win the Founder’s Best Actress award after they won Best Actress in a Leading Role (English Language).
Rose Mensah won Best Actress in a Leading Role (Local Language) at the December awards.
Other prizes to be presented at the ceremony include rLG phones, MKOGH cloths, costumes, spa treatment packages, souvenirs from sponsors among others.
