Management of the Upper West Tourist Board has presented boxes of chocolate to some mentally challenged pupils at the Wa School for the Deaf to mark Valentine Day on Monday. Mr. Henry Yeludor, Acting Regional Manager of the Tourist Board, said the presentation was to show love to the pupils and make them feel part of society. He said the celebration of the event had been dubbed "Chocolate Day" to help promote the consumption of chocolate.He said people had misconstrued Valentine Day as a day for engaging in amorous relationships. "The celebration of the day requires everyone to show love by sharing gifts especially chocolate to all manner of persons in society as expected of them by Go," Mr Yeludor said. Madam Comfort Nabugu, the Headmistress of the School, thanked Ghana Tourist Board for coming to show love to the needy especially to the mentally challenged pupils. She appealed to other organisations to follow the example of the Board.Source: GNA
